The Parson Thorne Mansion, also known as Silver Hill, is a Georgian brick dwelling built between 1730 and 1735 in Milford, Delaware. The two-story, five-bay center hall structure features flanking one-story wings and a two-story frame rear addition. Originally constructed in the Georgian style, the house underwent significant remodeling in 1879, acquiring a steeply pitched cross-gable roof with dormers that distinguishes its later appearance. The mansion served as the home of Delaware Governor William Burton and the boyhood residence of statesman John M. Clayton. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.
