Peddimore Hall is a Grade II listed manor house in Minworth, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, built in red brick with red sandstone dressings in 1659 by William Wilson. The two-storey structure, which incorporates elements of an earlier homestead, sits within a distinctive double moat dating to the 13th century—a feature that served both as a status symbol and practical defence against thieves while enclosing livestock and providing water. William Wood, a prominent Royalist and Warden of the Sutton Corporation, first occupied the house in 1662. The grounds include timber-framed farm buildings, notably an old barn dating from 1385 that is believed to have remained unaltered since its construction. A drawbridge crosses the moat at the entrance. The site itself has continuous documentation from 1281, and archaeological investigations in 1977 and 1980 have further illuminated its history.
