Pemberton's Headquarters, also known as the Willis-Cowan House, is a Greek Revival dwelling at 1018 Crawford Street in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Built in 1836, the house gained historical significance during the American Civil War when it served as the command center for Confederate General John C. Pemberton throughout the 47-day Siege of Vicksburg. The building witnessed a pivotal moment on July 4, 1863, when Pemberton formally surrendered the city to Union Major General Ulysses S. Grant within its walls. Now owned by the National Park Service and operated as a house museum within Vicksburg National Military Park, the structure was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1976.
