The Philcade Building is an Art Deco office building in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma, located at the southeast corner of East 5th Street and South Boston Avenue. Designed by Leon B. Senter for oilman Waite Phillips, it was begun in 1929 and completed in 1931. The building is distinguished by its zigzag Art Deco style architecture. Originally named after its owner, the Philcade underwent several renamings: it became the Stanolind Building in 1942 when the company purchased it from Phillips, then the Amoco North Building and later the 501 Boston Building. The name Philcade has since returned to popular usage. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986, the building is also a contributing property of the Oil Capital Historic District.
