Pontikokastro is a Byzantine castle located in Agios Andreas, Katakolo, within the Pyrgos Municipality in the Peloponnese. Known by the French name Beauvoir and the Italian name Belveder during the late Middle Ages, the fortress exemplifies Byzantine military architecture and reflects the multilingual heritage of its strategic location during a period of competing Mediterranean powers.
