The Pope Estate is a historic villa near South Lake Tahoe, California, originally constructed in the 1880s by Lloyd Tevis, former president of Wells Fargo Bank. Built entirely of wood with shingle-clad sidings, the residence exemplifies the Shingle style and Colonial Revival architecture popular in that era. The Tevis and Pope families maintained the estate as a summer retreat, and the grounds include several servants' cabins alongside the main dwelling. The property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
