The Putra Mosque is the principal mosque of Putrajaya, Malaysia, completed in 1999 after construction began two years earlier. Situated on Putra Square adjacent to man-made Putrajaya Lake, the structure exemplifies modern Islamic architecture through its distinctive rose-tinted granite construction and prominent pink dome. The building comprises three main functional areas: a prayer hall, a courtyard (Sahn), and various learning facilities and function rooms, with a capacity to accommodate 15,000 worshippers at one time.
