Rainbow Terrace, a Mediterranean Revival mansion in Atlanta's Druid Hills Historic District, was built for Lucy Beall Candler Owens Heinz, daughter of Coca-Cola co-founder Asa Griggs Candler. Designed by G. Lloyd Preacher—architect of Atlanta City Hall—the residence embodied the elegant style favored by Atlanta's wealthy families in the early twentieth century. The mansion gained notoriety in 1943 when Henry Heinz was shot by a burglar on the property; though a domestic servant was convicted, rumors of involvement by a family member circulated. Now known as Lullwater Estate, the building has been subdivided into condominiums and stands within a complex of townhouses at 1610 Ponce de Leon Avenue.
