The Rainbow Theatre in London's Finsbury Park is a Grade II*-listed Art Deco building originally opened in 1930 as the Finsbury Park Astoria, an "atmospheric cinema" designed to showcase elaborate entertainment spectacles alongside films. Over its long history, the building has served as a conventional cinema under various names—the Paramount Astoria and Odeon—before becoming renowned as a music venue. It subsequently hosted occasional boxing events and is now occupied by the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God, an Evangelical congregation.
