Located on Beemsterstraat in Amsterdam, this residential block of eight kitchen dwellings exemplifies the Amsterdam School architectural style. The building is notable for its innovative kitchen placement at the front of each unit—a progressive design choice for its era. A wooden gabled roof adorns the side elevation, adding compositional variety to the façade. Designated as a Rijksmonument, the structure represents early twentieth-century thinking about domestic planning and working-class housing design in Amsterdam.
