The Riverside Art Museum, located in the historic Mission Inn District of Riverside, California, occupies a Mediterranean Revival building originally designed by Julia Morgan for the Young Women's Christian Association in 1929. The structure was acquired by the Riverside Art Association in 1967 and converted to serve as an art museum, allowing the organization to expand its collection and educational programming for broader public access. Now a non-profit institution, the museum addresses social issues through exhibitions, art classes, and community events. The building was designated a Riverside Historical Landmark and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
