The Robert Vial House, located at 7425 S. Wolf Road in Burr Ridge, Illinois, is the oldest building in the community and the sole surviving example of an early farmhouse there. Built in 1856 by Robert Vial, a prominent local farmer and civic leader, the two-story Greek Revival structure combines that style's formal vocabulary with Italianate and Classical Revival elements. Its upright-and-wing form features a front gable, five six-over-six sash windows with shutters, sidelights and transom framing the main entrance, and pilasters supporting a plain pediment. A 1½-story side wing displays a columned porch with sloping overhang, while ornamental Italianate brackets ornament the main eaves. Originally sited on Plainfield Road, the house was relocated in 1989 by the Flagg Creek Heritage Society to its present location and restored as a local history museum. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.
