The Robinson Center is a performance and convention complex occupying Statehouse Plaza in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas. Its centerpiece, the Robinson Center Music Hall, was constructed in 1939 by architects Eugene J. Stern and Wittenberg & Delony in an Art Deco style distinguished by its south façade's columns, which echo the Greek Revival architecture of the adjacent Old State House Museum. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2007 as the Joseph Taylor Robinson Municipal Auditorium, the hall seats 2,222 and serves as the primary venue for the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, Broadway touring productions, and concerts. A modern conference center extends to the north, offering meeting spaces, ballrooms, and an Arkansas River-facing terrace for events. The complex is named for Joseph Taylor Robinson, a former U.S. Senator, Congressman, and Arkansas governor, and is administered by the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau.
