The Turner House, a two-story wood-frame residence at 1701 Center Street in Little Rock, Arkansas, exemplifies Colonial Revival architecture of the early twentieth century. Built in 1904–05 to designs by noted Arkansas architect Charles L. Thompson, the house features a clapboarded exterior and brick foundation topped by a gabled roof. Its most striking element is a massive two-story temple portico, supported by fluted Ionic columns and crowned with a fully pedimented and modillioned gable. The main entry is elegantly detailed with sidelight windows and an elliptical fanlight, while a shallow balcony spans above. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
