The Roscoe P. Ward House is a Neoclassical residence built between 1896 and 1897 in Waseca, Minnesota, designed to reflect the wealth and status of its owner, a prominent local figure in politics and finance. Nominated to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, the house exemplifies Waseca's commercial and industrial prosperity at the turn of the twentieth century and stands as the town's most prominent large residence of that era. Its architectural significance derives from both its stylistic character and its role as a tangible expression of local economic and political leadership during a formative period in the community's development.
