Rosenburg is a Renaissance castle perched on a cliff above the Kamp valley in the municipality of Rosenburg-Mold, Lower Austria, at an elevation of 345 metres. Founded in 1175, it has become one of Austria's most visited Renaissance castles, nestled within the Kamptal nature reserve. The castle's prominence in Austrian cultural memory is such that the folk song "Es liegt ein Schloss in Österreich" ("There is a castle in Austria") is often believed to reference this site, which stands as the canonical Rosenburg among several castles of that name in Austria and Germany.
