The Rudé Právo Building stood in Prague's New Town as a Brutalist structure designed by Miroslav Koukolík and completed in 1989. The edifice, named after the Communist daily newspaper, exemplified the austere concrete forms characteristic of late-20th-century Brutalist architecture. It was demolished in 2012, removing from Prague's cityscape a prominent example of the Brutalist style that had defined much of the city's post-war architectural development.
