The Rumbach Street Synagogue in Budapest's Erzsébetváros district, completed in 1873, is an architectural synthesis of Art Nouveau and Moorish Revival styles designed by Felix Buzzi. Built for the Neológ congregation, it served the Jewish community of inner Pest for over a century as a place of worship. Since 2021, the structure has expanded its cultural role, functioning simultaneously as a concert venue and Jewish museum, allowing its distinctive architectural heritage to reach audiences beyond the religious community for which it was originally constructed.
