The sacristy of Notre-Dame de Paris, completed in 1849 in the cathedral's adjoining space within Paris's 4th arrondissement, was designed by the renowned architect Eugène Viollet-le-Duc. As a functional chamber for the storage of ecclesiastical vestments and liturgical vessels, the sacristy represents Viollet-le-Duc's architectural interventions during the nineteenth-century restoration campaign of the medieval cathedral.
