Saint-Pierre in Firminy, France, is a modernist concrete church that stands as Le Corbusier's final major work. Designed by Le Corbusier and José Oubrerie, the building was begun in 1973 but remained incomplete until its dedication in 2006, more than four decades after the architect's death in 1965. Rising 33 meters, the structure embodies the bold geometric vocabulary of high modernism and has been recognized as a significant twentieth-century monument, earning classification as both a historical landmark and part of the Patrimoine du XXᵉ siècle (twentieth-century heritage).
