The Église Notre-Dame du Raincy, a Roman Catholic church in the commune of Le Raincy near Paris, was built in 1922–23 by French architects Auguste and Gustave Perret. Rising 50 meters, the structure is a landmark of architectural modernism, realized entirely in reinforced concrete—a material the Perrets wielded to reveal its structural and aesthetic potential. The church's bold use of this relatively novel building technique exemplifies early twentieth-century innovation in sacred architecture. Now classified as a historical monument and recognized as part of France's twentieth-century architectural heritage, it stands as a testament to the transformative possibilities of modern materials and design.
