Samester Parkway Apartments is a 72-unit Art Deco apartment complex in Baltimore, Maryland, built in 1939 and financed through the Federal Housing Administration. The design consists of two symmetrical detached wings arranged as stacked chevrons—six three-story garden apartment buildings facing each other across a central courtyard—executed in red brick. An early example of FHA-backed garden apartments in Baltimore, the complex represents an accomplished American translation of European modernist architectural principles. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.
