The Sidi Arif Mosque in Sohag, Egypt, is a mosque and mausoleum dedicated to the Sufi mystic Sidi Arif (Ismail ibn Ali ibn Abdussami), a member of the Ashraf family of mystics whose tomb lies within the building. Originally completed in the 14th century, the structure has undergone multiple reconstructions, including significant work in 1968 using concrete and again in 1998. The mosque remains an important pilgrimage site for the people of Sohag, who gather annually to celebrate the Mawlid, the saint's birthday, and to venerate at his shrine.
