Skopje's Transportation Center is the main railway station and bus terminal in North Macedonia's capital, designed by renowned Japanese architect Kenzō Tange following the devastating 1963 earthquake that leveled the original facility and much of the city. Built as an elevated structure, the station features 10 tracks positioned atop a massive concrete bridge stretching approximately 2 kilometers in length, a striking modernist response to the city's reconstruction. Located roughly 15 minutes' walk from Makedonija Square, it remains a central transportation hub for the city.
