Located at 190 E. Liberty in Reno, Nevada, the Southside Studio is an Art Deco building completed in 1936 with Works Progress Administration funding as an annex to an earlier school structure from 1903. Only the 1936 addition survives today. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993, the building is recognized for embodying a regional interpretation of the Art Deco style in Nevada and for its association with significant historical patterns. In 2021, the structure was leased to and reopened by the University of Nevada, Reno as an expansion of the Innevation Center, housing a robotics education facility for K-12 students, a wood shop, and office space.
