St George's Church on the Isle of Portland is a Georgian church designed by architect Thomas Gilbert and built between 1754 and 1766 from local Portland limestone. Erected to replace the decayed St. Andrew's Church, which had fallen into disuse, it stands as a Grade I listed building. The structure underwent significant restoration during the 1960s under a dedicated conservation group, after which it passed into the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. Though no longer used for regular worship, the church hosts services twice yearly—on St George's Day and Christmas Day.
