St. Josaphat Cathedral in McCauley, Edmonton, Alberta, is one of Canada's finest examples of Byzantine Revival church architecture. Completed in 1946 and elevated to cathedral status in 1948, it serves as the seat of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Edmonton. The structure occupies eighteen city lots and is distinguished by seven domes, a columned entry portico, and red brick veneer embellished with darker brick pilasters and inlaid cream-coloured crosses. Recognized as both a municipal and provincial historic resource, the cathedral stands as a landmark expression of Ukrainian Catholic liturgical tradition in western Canada.
