St. Mary's Catholic Church in Paragould, Arkansas, stands at 301 W. Highland as a notable early work by Charles Eames (designed with Ray Eames). Built in 1935, the church represents a modern reinterpretation of Romanesque Revival architecture, blending Moderne and Renaissance Revival stylistic elements. It serves as the second sanctuary for a congregation established in 1883, and is one of only two known church designs by Eames in Arkansas, the other being St. Mary's in Helena. The building was recognized for its historical significance when listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
