The St. Paul Minnesota Temple, located in Oakdale, Minnesota, is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' first temple in the state. Announced in 1998 and designed by Ed Kodet, Jr. of Kodet Architect Group Ltd., the modern structure features a single spire and is clad in light gray granite veneer. Situated on a wooded 7.5-acre site, the temple complex also includes a stake center meetinghouse. Construction began with a groundbreaking ceremony in September 1998, and the temple became the church's 69th operating temple.
