St Peter at Arches Church in Lincoln was an ancient parish church rebuilt between approximately 1720 and 1724 in the Georgian style by either Francis or William Smith of Warwick. Located just north of where the High Street and Silver Street intersect, near the Guildhall and Stonebow, the church replaced an earlier medieval structure on the same site, reflecting the architectural tastes and resources of early eighteenth-century Lincoln.
