Completed in 1927 in Como, Italy, the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia is a multi-use stadium designed by architect Giovanni Greppi under orders from Benito Mussolini. An early exemplar of rationalist architecture in Italy, the stadium represents a significant moment in the development of the architectural modernism that would characterize the Como region. With a capacity of 13,602 spectators, it serves as the home ground of Como 1907 and is owned by the Municipality of Como. The stadium bears the name of Giuseppe Sinigaglia, a local rower and First World War hero, and is recognized as part of Italy's national heritage.
