Stadio San Nicola, a multi-use all-seater stadium in Bari, Italy, was designed by renowned architect Renzo Piano and completed in 1990 as the home of SSC Bari, replacing their previous ground, Stadio della Vittoria. The stadium's distinctive design resembles a flower, achieved through 26 'petals'—upper tiers of the higher ring separated by 8-metre empty spaces that provide structural stability and security. With a capacity of 58,270, it is Italy's third-largest football stadium and the largest used by a single team. The ground reached full capacity for the first time in June 2014 during a Serie B playoff match.
