The Stadttheater Bremerhaven in Mitte, Germany, is a municipal theatre founded in 1867 that presents opera, spoken drama, and dance. Designed by architect Oskar Kaufmann, the original 1911 building was substantially destroyed during World War II. The theatre was reconstructed in 1952, thoughtfully preserving the surviving Jugendstil facade from Kaufmann's earlier structure. The adjacent Bürgerhaus Lehe, formerly a residence, now functions as a venue for chamber performances. The building is recognized as a protected cultural heritage monument in Bremen state.
