The Stark County Courthouse in Canton, Ohio, was designed by Cleveland-based architect George F. Hammond in 1895, though it incorporates an older structure originally constructed in the 1870s. The building exemplifies Beaux Arts architecture with Classical influences, featuring a distinctive clock tower adorned with statues of trumpeting angels. A second corner tower from the original 1870s structure was removed during the 1895 modifications. The courthouse and its annex are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
