Situated on Kungsholmen in central Stockholm, the Stockholm Court House is a National Romantic structure designed by architect Carl Westman and constructed between 1909 and 1915. The building's design draws inspiration from the castles of the Vasa era, notably resembling Vadstena Castle. Originally housing the Stockholm City Court from 1915 to 1971, it later served as the Stockholm District Court. The courthouse is connected to the adjacent Stockholm Police House via an underground pedestrian walkway. The complex is designated as an individual listed building and represents a significant example of early twentieth-century Swedish National Romantic architecture.
