Stonyfield Farm, a historic property on Barrett Hill Road in Wilton, New Hampshire, was established in 1803 by Ebenezer Barrett as a rural hill-country farm. The buildings and layout exemplify Federal and Colonial Revival architecture characteristic of early 19th-century New England agricultural settlements. The farm's survival was secured through its transformation into a gentleman's farm in the early 20th century, preserving its original character while adapting to changing uses. The property gained later prominence as the founding site of Stonyfield Farm yogurt company. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, the farm remains a well-preserved example of period rural architecture and land organization.
