The Strathcona Public Building, a Beaux-Arts post office designed by David Ewart and completed in 1913, stands in Strathcona Square within Edmonton's Old Strathcona heritage district. Originally serving as the South Side Post Office, the structure was restored and reopened to the public in September 1988 as part of a larger development that included a Festival Market, transforming the site into the present-day Strathcona Square. The building now carries provincial historic resource status.
