Surp Hovhannes Church, located in the village of Byurakan in Armenia's Aragatsotn Province, is a 10th-century basilica exemplifying Armenian architectural tradition. The church dedicated to Saint John stands near the ruins of the earlier Artavazik Church of the 7th century, and across a nearby ravine sits a monumental khachkar from the 13th century, together forming a significant cluster of medieval Armenian religious heritage within the village landscape.
