The Synagogue de Saint-Avold, completed in 1956 in the Moselle department of northeastern France, stands as a modern structure built to replace a predecessor destroyed during the German occupation in World War II. Located at the corner of Rue des Américains and Rue de la Mertzelle near Place Paul-Collin, the synagogue serves an Ashkenazi congregation and represents the post-war rebuilding of Jewish religious life in the region.
