Demolished or destroyed.
The Synagogue Poppelsdorf was a Moorish Revival synagogue in Germany, designed by architect Wilhelm Weinreis. Built in this ornate style characteristic of 19th-century Jewish institutional architecture, the building fell victim to Nazi persecution when it was torched during the systematic destruction of Jewish communities in Nazi Germany. The synagogue has since been demolished.
