Located in Taipei's Xinyi District, the Taipei World Trade Center is a four-part integrated business complex designed by architect Kenzō Tange and inaugurated in January 1986. Commissioned by Taiwan's External Trade Development Council, the facility combines an exhibition hall, international convention center, office tower, and the Grand Hyatt Taipei hotel, creating a comprehensive venue for trade promotion, conferences, and international business operations. The unified complex was conceived to serve the needs of the global business community by consolidating exhibition space, conference facilities, offices, and accommodation within a single modern destination.
