The Taylor Memorial Library in Milford, Connecticut, is a Richardsonian Romanesque building completed in 1894 and designed by architect Joseph W. Northrop. Following the influential precedent of H. H. Richardson's Crane Memorial Library in Massachusetts while introducing its own departures, the structure exemplifies the robust, rounded-arch aesthetic characteristic of the style. Originally constructed as a library, the building at 5 Broad Street was recognized for its architectural significance and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. It currently serves as the home of the Milford Chamber of Commerce offices.
