The Teatro Juárez is a historical theatre in Guanajuato, Mexico, constructed between 1872 and 1903 from a design by architect José Noriega, commissioned by General Florencio Antillón. The building was completed by architect Antonio Rivas Mercado and engineer Alberto Malo, whose refurbishments substantially transformed both its exterior and interior. The theatre reached peak prominence from the late 19th century through the early Mexican Revolution, establishing itself as a vital center of artistic activity that hosted the era's most celebrated performers. Since 1972, it has served as the principal venue for the Festival Internacional Cervantino.
