Teli ka Temple, a Hindu shrine within Gwalior Fort in Madhya Pradesh, dates to the early 8th or 9th century and is dedicated to Shiva, Vishnu, and the Matrikas. Notable for its atypical rectangular sanctum rather than the conventional square, the temple synthesizes Nagara and Valabhi prasada architectural elements within a Gurjara Pratihara-Gopgiri style framework. It stands as a rare example of North Indian architecture based on "musical harmonics," which architectural historian Hermann Goetz regarded as a masterpiece of late Gupta era Indian art. The temple holds designation as a Monument of National Importance.
