The Temple of Concordia stands in the Valle dei Templi (Valley of the Temples) near Agrigento on Sicily's south coast, one of the finest surviving examples of ancient Greek architecture from Magna Graecia. Built in the Doric order and constructed of limestone, it ranks as the largest and best-preserved Doric temple in Sicily, and among the most intact Greek temples of its style anywhere. Located roughly a kilometer east of the Temple of Heracles, the temple's exceptional state of preservation has made it an invaluable record of classical Greek temple design and construction.
