The Vineyard Church, Richmond, in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, is a Norman-style chapel built in grey brick with a distinctive porch, designed by architect John Davies and opened in 1831 with a capacity of 500 to 600 worshippers. Funded by the Christian businessman and philanthropist Thomas Wilson—a major supporter of the London Missionary Society and co-founder of what became University College London—the chapel was originally called the Vineyard Chapel and served Richmond's dissenting congregation. Severely damaged in the Great Fire of Richmond, the building was reconstructed in 1851 and retains its historic gallery. In 2013, the church merged with Richmond Borough Church to form the Life Church, which continues to meet in the nineteenth-century structure and operates an associated community centre, food bank, and charity shop. The Richmond Society awarded the building in 2021 for its sympathetic restoration and accessibility improvements.
