Located in Williamsville, Erie County, New York, the Williamsville Christian Church, also known as the Meeting House, is a 2½-story brick Italianate-style structure built in 1871 and remodeled around 1900. Originally serving a Disciples of Christ congregation founded some four decades before its construction, the church is notable not only for its architectural character but also for the community's wider influence—the congregation established the area's first secondary school, the Williamsville Classical Institute. The building features a distinctive rose window facing Main Street alongside twelve arched and arcaded windows containing three types of glass: original stenciled glass, pebble glass, and later leaded glass. Transferred to the Village of Williamsville in 1976 as the congregation declined, it has been preserved for community use and occasionally serves as a venue for theatrical productions. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002, the structure remains an important landmark of the village's heritage.
