The Theater Duisburg in Duisburg, Germany, is a neoclassical opera house designed by architect Martin Dülfer and originally built in 1912. Destroyed during World War II, the theatre was reconstructed in 1950 and now serves as one of two home venues for the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, the other being the Opernhaus Düsseldorf. The building stands as an architectural heritage monument and hosted the company's 50th Anniversary celebration on 28 September 2006 with a performance of Richard Strauss' *Elektra*.
