Tokyo City Hall Tower II is a 163.3-meter postmodern skyscraper located in the Nishi-Shinjuku district of Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo. Completed as part of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Buildings complex, the tower exemplifies the postmodern architectural vocabulary that characterized late-twentieth-century Japanese civic architecture, with its distinctive formal composition and geometric detailing that distinguish it from the International Style modernism of earlier decades.
