The Tower Theatre for the Performing Arts in Fresno, California, is a Streamline Moderne theater completed in 1939 and designed by architect S. Charles Lee. It opened to the public on December 15, 1939, under the management of Fox West Coast Theater Corporation, with its distinctive tower inspired by the "Star Pylon" exhibited at the 1939 New York World's Fair. After operating as a repertory cinema, the theater closed in 1989 due to financial difficulties, but underwent renovation and reopened as a performing arts center in 1990. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
